The song is based on a liturgy from ‘Every Moment Holy Vol II‘ called ‘a Liturgy for Long Term Caregivers’ and is about caring for someone who is dying. The image on the cover is actually of the man who did the lino-cuts for ‘Every Moment Holy’ (you’ll have also seen them at my shows), Ned Bustard. His wife, Leslie, sadly died last year. The picture is of him holding her hand towards the end. It speaks so tenderly of what the song is about. I hope it is a blessing to you.
